How can I obtain an Absentee Ballot application?

  • You can download the application below:

    • For English applications click here​

    • For Spanish applications click here

  • You may write to townclerk@stamfordct.gov to request that an AB application be sent to your home.

  • Call 203.977.5280 to request an AB application; please provide your name and address when you leave a message.

  • Visit the Town Clerk's Office at 888 Washington Boulevard - Ground Floor, Stamford, CT 06901

Where can I return my Absentee Ballot Application and Ballot?

  • You may place your documents into one of the secure drop boxes located at the following locations: 

                1. Government Center Parking Garage

                    888 Washington Boulevard 
                2. Harry Bennett Library

                    115 Vine Road
 Mail to: Town Clerk – AB Application

               P.O. Box 891, Stamford, CT 06904-0891

What is the last date that the ballot needs to be received?

  • Ballots need to be received in the Town Clerk's Office via US mail at the latest on Election Day to be counted.

  • The final collection of ballots from the ballot box is at 8pm on November 8, 2022.

Registering to vote is easy! There are three ways to register to vote.

  • Register online here. Must have a Connecticut license to register online

  • Print and fill out a completed Voter Registration Form here. Cards are available in English and Spanish. Once you've filled out the form, please mail it to:
